Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles, along with experience in project management and site supervision. You will play a vital role in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Analyze project specifications and requirements to define scope and objectives.
  • Provide inputs for risk assessments and mitigation plans.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to discuss project status and address any issues.
  • Liaise with government authorities and agencies for project approvals.
  • Develop strategies for effective resource management and cost control.
  • Mentor and train junior engineering staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering projects
