We're on the lookout for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. You’ll be instrumental in automating deployment processes and maintaining cloud infrastructure. The right individual will have excellent skills in scripting, monitoring, and security protocols. Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions for infrastructure management.
• Implement DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot issues in production environments and provide solutions.
• Integrate monitoring tools for proactive system management.
• Collaborate on architectural design for cloud applications.
• Maintain documentation for processes and infrastructure setups.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certification in cloud technologies is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices

• AWS
• Linux
• Ansible

Certifications

• Azure DevOps Solutions Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab: Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Knowledge in microservices architecture: Familiarity with microservices and their deployment.
