Seeking a passionate Educational Psychologist to join our innovative team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will specialise in special education, providing assessments, counselling, and support for students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and report on the psychological and educational needs of students.
• Design and implement psychosocial interventions.
• Work closely with special needs teachers in delivering optimal learning experiences.
• Provide mentorship and support for emerging educational psychologists.
• Engage in community outreach programmes to promote awareness of special education.
• Participate in program development and assessment for educational initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and legislation.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or Counselling
• Registered with HPCSA as an Educational Psychologist

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in educational settings focusing on special education

Certifications

• Registered Psychological Practitioner (RPP)
• Certified in Family Therapy

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
