Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Investment Banker to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, debt and equity capital markets, as well as mergers and acquisitions. In this role, you'll work closely with clients to provide strategic financial advice and leverage your expertise to navigate complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive financial models to evaluate investment risks and opportunities.
• Support clients in strategic decision-making regarding equity and debt financing.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify market positioning and opportunities.
• Participate in negotiations and structuring of financial deals.
• Provide insights and recommendations on investment strategies and market trends.
• Document and manage transaction processes to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• Master's degree or MBA preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance roles
