Job Description

As a Fabric and Apparel Patternmaker at Top Fashion Co., you will be responsible for creating and modifying patterns for our diverse range of garments. You'll collaborate closely with designers to understand product specifications and ensure that patterns align with quality standards and production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop patterns that align with garment specifications and production capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure accurate pattern replication.
• Conduct fitting sessions and make adjustments based on feedback.
• Document pattern changes and maintain detailed records.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and improvements.
• Adapt patterns to accommodate various fabric types and garment styles.
• Provide training to junior patternmakers on best practices.
• Assist in the costing analysis of patterns to assess material requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of extensive experience in the apparel pattern making

Technical Skills

• Proficient in CAD software
• Strong organizational skills

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability

Certifications

• Fashion Technology Certification
• Technical Fashion Designer Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
