Job Description

We are seeking a qualified doctor to join our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. This role requires a compassionate and skilled individual ready to provide high-quality medical care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in general practice and a passion for making a difference in their community.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patient health needs.
• Document patient care and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist in surgery and other medical procedures when required.
• Communicate effectively with patients about their health concerns.
• Participate in clinical research and studies.
• Support administrative staff in managing medical records.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Specialist qualification is advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience, preferably in a specialty area

Technical Skills

• Diagnostics
• Treatment Planning

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Fellowship in a specialty area

Languages

• English: Fluent
• IsiXhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Membership in a professional medical association: Belonging to medical associations is an advantage.
