Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician who will provide top-notch support to our users in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will have a knack for problem-solving, proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and passionate about technology. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line support for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems for users in a timely manner.
• Set up and configure new computers, printers, and other peripherals.
• Assist in the installation of software and updates.
• Conduct routine maintenance on IT systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of user requests and resolutions.
• Collaborate with the IT team to enhance systems security and performance.
• Provide training to users on new software and systems.
• Monitor and maintain network performance and integrity.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role
