We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our expanding team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing aerospace structures and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and advanced materials used in aerospace applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and provide engineering insights for continuous improvement.
• Participate in the development of project timelines and resource allocation.
• Initiate and oversee testing to verify compliance with performance metrics.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices and technical skills.
• Conduct regular assessments of project costs and performance against budget.
• Contribute to proposal writing for new projects, showcasing the organization's capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years in aerospace systems and design

• AutoCAD

Languages
