Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, project management, and excellent problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing projects while ensuring compliance with the regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and report writing for engineering projects.
  • Oversee construction processes to ensure compliance with designs and regulations.
  • Prepare project documentation, plans, and costs estimates.
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors to deliver seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress and quality.
  • Resolve engineering issues that arise during construction phases.
  • Ensure all activities comply with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Review and approve contractor work and invoices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
Experience
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering projects
