Job Description

We are in search of an Environmental Scientist to join our vibrant team in Durban. This role will involve conducting fieldwork, data analysis, and developing environmental management strategies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present environmental reports to management.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for compliance checks.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on environmental practices.
• Utilize GIS software for spatial data analysis.
• Engage in community outreach to promote environmental stewardship.
• Assess the ecological impact of proposed projects.
• Lead project teams to achieve environmental objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in environmental projects
