Job Description

As a Fashion Designer at Fashion Forward, you will leverage your design skills to develop collections that inspire. Collaborating closely with teams across the company, your role will ensure that our fashions not only capture attention but also embody quality and style.

Responsibilities

• Lead design sessions to innovate and push the boundaries of fashion.
• Stay updated on global fashion trends and culture influences.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the design process.
• Utilize CAD software to develop and refine fashion illustrations.
• Mentor junior designers and interns in best practices.
• Coordinate with pattern makers to ensure design accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Master's degree in Fashion Design is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fashion design

Technical Skills

• Pattern Making

Certifications

• Fashion Merchandising Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in plus-size fashion design: Experience designing for diverse body types and sizes.
