Job Description

The Substation Inspector will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting electrical substations in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role involves conducting regular inspections, ensuring equipment compliance, and coordinating maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of substations to evaluate operational safety and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of all inspection data and maintenance activities.
• Implement and monitor safety regulations across all operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve maintenance procedures.
• Report non-compliance issues and escalate potential risks.
• Assist in emergency response planning for substation operations.
• Evaluate the performance of equipment and suggest necessary upgrades.
• Facilitate workshops for team skill development.
• Lead safety audits and compliance checks in various electrical installations.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and practices in maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
