Job Description

The Axle Polisher is responsible for polishing metal axles to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards. This role involves using various polishing tools and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate polishing machinery efficiently while ensuring high quality.
• Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance.
• Maintain a tidy workstation and follow safety procedures.
• Record the polishing process and any discrepancies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
• Suggest improvements in the polishing process.
• Assist in the setup of machinery for production runs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with team members to meet production schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate
• Technical certification in metal finishing is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of quality control procedures
• Ability to read technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
