Job Description

The Stab Setter and Driller is responsible for setting up and operating drilling equipment according to safety regulations. You'll also help with the maintenance and repair of equipment when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor drilling operations, making adjustments as necessary for optimal performance.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment before starting the drilling process.
• Identify and troubleshoot any malfunctions in drilling machinery promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to management immediately.
• Assist in logistical planning for drilling operations, including equipment transport.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure performance standards are met.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in drilling operations is beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in relevant drilling roles

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Drilling Techniques
• Equipment Maintenance Skills

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of drilling materials: Experience working with various drilling materials including oil, gas, and minerals.
