As a Pharmacist at Pharmacy Solutions, you will play a vital role in patient health management. Your responsibilities include dispensing medications, providing medication consultations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe and effective use of medications.
• Educate patients about their prescriptions and health conditions.
• Attend to customer inquiries regarding health products.
• Participate in continuing education to stay updated on pharmaceutical innovations.
• Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock levels of medications.
• Assist in the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Utilize pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and inventories.
• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions.
• Work with insurance companies to resolve prescription coverage issues.
• Participate in quality assurance measures to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
