Job Description

As a Radio Dispatcher, you will play an essential role in our Dispatch Operations team by coordinating emergency responses and ensuring effective communication among various emergency services. Your ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate responses to emergency calls by prioritizing based on urgency.
  • Communicate effectively with emergency responders and provide necessary support.
  • Utilize dispatching software and radio systems for efficient operations.
  • Stay current on emergency response protocols and changes in procedures.
  • Collaborate with various emergency service providers for streamlined communication.
  • Manage and document all communication within the dispatch system.
  • Assist in preventative measures to minimize response time during emergencies.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma
  • Relevant certificates in communication or emergency management are preferred
Experience
  • Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
