Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will provide quality healthcare to patients, performing examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and have a strong background in family medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine physical examinations and health screenings.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in patient interactions.
  • Educate patients about medications and potential side effects.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided.
  • Participate in case conferences and clinical meetings.
  • Promote preventive care and wellness programs.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Engage in research and clinical trials as applicable.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent qualification
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in general practice
