Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to groundbreaking research initiatives that advance our understanding in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead independent research projects from conception through to execution.
  • Evaluate and enhance current research practices by integrating new technologies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of research projects.
  • Participate in peer review processes and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards in laboratory practices.
  • Assist in the development of educational materials related to research findings.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in a relevant scientific field
  • Master's degree in a scientific discipline is advantageous
