Job Description

As a Surgical Nurse at Healthcare Facilities, you will play a critical role in providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You’ll work closely with surgeons and medical teams to ensure the best surgical outcomes. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in nursing with a passion for surgical services.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the surgical suite, including equipment and instruments.
  • Assist in the management of surgical complications and emergencies.
  • Educate patients about procedures, potential risks, and recovery times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare safety standards and protocols.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the surgical team.
  • Monitor inventory and order medical supplies as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in surgical nursing is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in surgical nursing preferred
