Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Radiographer in Johannesburg. Your primary responsibility will be to perform imaging studies while adhering to safety protocols, contributing to accurate patient assessments and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients on imaging processes and safety precautions.
  • Ensure the correct use and maintenance of imaging equipment.
  • Analyze images for quality and clarity before reporting results.
  • Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to interpret results.
  • Handle patient records and medical histories with confidentiality.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Document patient interactions and imaging procedures accurately.
  • Assist with the development of imaging policies and protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiography or related field
  • Certification from a recognized radiography institution
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical setting as a Radiographer
