Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in structural engineering principles and a passion for delivering high-quality projects. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and inspecting structures, while collaborating with a talented team on diverse projects.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced engineering software for structural analysis and design.
  • Work with cross-disciplinary teams to define project scopes and objectives.
  • Participate in the preparation of project proposals and bids.
  • Ensure the quality of designs through regular reviews and adjustments.
  • Oversee the construction process and verify that work aligns with engineering plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and feasibility analyses on design options.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering projects
