We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to bolster our security team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of security frameworks and a passion for safeguarding digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance existing cybersecurity strategies.
• Perform thorough risk assessments and threat analysis.
• Implement security measures and monitor their effectiveness.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Develop training programs on security practices for team members.
• Respond to security incidents and mitigate risks accordingly.
• Research and apply the latest cybersecurity technologies.
• Create regular reports on security measures and incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
