Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage our supply chain operations in Johannesburg. This role involves ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the entire supply chain, from procurement to distribution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics and strong analytic skills to optimize operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement supply chain initiatives that enhance profitability and customer service.
• Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets related to supply chain operations.
• Continuously improve logistics services by analyzing market trends and customer feedback.
• Ensure supply chain operations align with company sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
• Develop training programs to enhance team performance and knowledge.
• Assist in troubleshooting any supply chain disruptions as they arise.
• Lead efforts to improve supplier diversity and negotiation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in logistics or supply chain management

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
