Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Production Line Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of production processes and be adept at managing teams to ensure optimal efficiency and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team by example and mentor junior staff.
• Define production goals and develop actionable plans to meet them.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and deadlines.
• Regularly review production processes for efficiency gains.
• Facilitate effective communication between departments.
• Ensure that all operations comply with legislative requirements.
• Conduct training sessions on safety and best practices.
• Analyze and suggest enhancements to reduce production costs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Certification in Production and Operations Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
