Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Environmental Engineer in Johannesburg to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead projects aimed at mitigating environmental impact through innovative engineering solutions. You will work closely with clients and stakeholders to design and implement effective environmental strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop project budgets and timelines for environmental initiatives.
• Liaise with local government and municipalities on environmental policies.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists on multidisciplinary projects.
• Advise clients on environmental risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Draft and submit environmental permit applications and compliance reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• PhD in Environmental Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy
