Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to drive operational excellence in our Cape Town office. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in managing supply chain processes that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. You will oversee the planning and execution of supply chain strategies while collaborating with different departments to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain optimization projects to improve performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers for efficient operations.
• Assess supply chain processes and implement improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipping schedules.
• Develop training programs for team members on supply chain practices.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations to enhance quality and service.
• Generate forecasts and manage demand planning.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning related to supply chain functions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for supply chain inquiries.
• Use analytical tools to drive decision-making in supply chain management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management or relevant field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
