Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a primary care setting

Technical Skills

• Family Medicine
• Emergency Medicine

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support Instructor

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate fluently in both languages is a plus.
• Participation in community health programs: Experience in outreach or health promotion activities in the local community.
