Casing Sewer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Casing Sewer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting and sewing heavy-duty fabric covers onto industrial equipment, using various sewing machines and tools. The position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fabric according to job specs and project requirements.
• Operate different types of sewing machines to produce covers.
• Inspect finished covers for quality assurance.
• Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure timelines are met.
• Keep the work area tidy and comply with safety standards.
• Record production data accurately for reporting.
• Adapt to different projects as needs change throughout production.
• Train new team members in sewing techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in sewing or related field (advantageous)

Experience

• Experience with heavy-duty fabrics is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Machine Maintenance
