Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will analyze financial data, create reports, and provide insights to help guide strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and experience in financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial modeling to support strategic initiatives.
• Attend team meetings to discuss financial performance and strategies.
• Assist in audits and compliance processes.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on market trends and financial regulations.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• CFA or similar certification is an advantage

Experience

• 2-4 years in a financial analyst role

Technical Skills

• Excel Proficiency
• Financial Software

• Teamwork

Certifications

• CFA Level I or higher is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in forecasting and budgeting: Experience in developing financial forecasts and budgets is a plus.
