Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and liaising with study participants and medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical trial operations from initiation to closeout.
• Monitor compliance with protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during trials.
• Facilitate communication amongst stakeholders including sponsors and investigators.
• Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections.
• Implement quality assurance measures to ensure optimal data quality.
• Support participants throughout their clinical trial involvement.
• Review and verify data entries for accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Sciences
• Relevant certifications in clinical research are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical research management

Certifications

• Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Certification
• Certified Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience with patient recruitment strategies: Knowledge of effective methods for recruiting participants for trials.
