Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to provide support and guidance to clients dealing with various mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals and groups, creating tailored treatment plans that focus on recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform mental health evaluations to establish client needs.
• Develop and implement effective treatment protocols.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Track and report on client outcomes and progress.
• Network with community resources for client referrals.
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work or relevant field
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker is preferred

Experience

• At least 4 years of post-graduate experience in mental health counseling
