IT Support Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an IT Support Technician, where you will be the first point of contact for IT support within the company. This role requires a practical approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in IT systems daily operations, including performing upgrades, maintenance, and user training.

Responsibilities

• Setup, configure, and install hardware and software systems for new employees.
• Offer troubleshooting assistance and resolve technical conflicts that may arise.
• Maintain detailed records of IT systems and procedures.
• Work closely with the IT Manager on technology planning and resource allocation.
• Lead efforts on preventative maintenance and backup procedures for systems.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of IT Support training course
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Remote Support Tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
