Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing holistic patient care and will have a strong commitment to community health. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, guiding patients in their health journey.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and screenings.
• Analyze lab results and medical imaging.
• Provide compassionate care while addressing patient concerns.
• Develop strategies for health promotion within the community.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent)
• Further qualifications in Family Medicine preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience

• Diagnostic Skills
• Treatment Planning

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Family Medicine certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in managing chronic diseases: Proven ability to help patients manage chronic health conditions.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
