We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to take on a range of responsibilities, including project planning and execution, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your expertise will help shape the infrastructure landscape of Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering structures and systems with innovative solutions.
• Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate different engineering aspects.
• Evaluate project performance and implement improvements.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.
• Coordinate inspections and testing of materials and systems.
• Manage contract documentation and liaise with contractors.
• Explore new technologies and methods for enhancing project outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation of grant applications and tenders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering

• Civil 3D
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
