Boiler Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Mechanic to maintain, repair, and install boilers safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boiler mechanics and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of boiler systems and equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs, ensuring optimal performance.
• Install new boiler systems and ensure they are functionally tested.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Assist in training programs for new technicians.
• Contribute to the enhancement of safety measures and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade certification or equivalent experience

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in boiler maintenance and repair

Technical Skills

• Experience with steam systems
• Knowledge of safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Team coordination
• Time management

Certifications

• Valid driver’s license

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment: Prior experience working in relevant industries.
