We are on the hunt for a skilled Technical Writer to join our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise documentation that communicates complex technical information in an easily understandable manner. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and produce user manuals, guides, and tutorials. You should possess a knack for turning technical jargon into user-friendly content.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update documentation for new and existing products.
• Engage in usability testing to ensure documents meet user needs.
• Support marketing teams with product descriptions and promotional content.
• Contribute to the creation of internal knowledge bases.
• Train new team members on documentation standards and tools.
• Ensure all documentation meets quality standards and specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or relevant field
• Certifications in relevant tools or methodologies preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a technical writing role

Technical Skills

• Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Graphic Design Software

• Research Skills

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
