Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to play a pivotal role in our Cape Town operations. The role involves designing and optimizing chemical processes, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards, and contributing to team projects that prioritize innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Analyze process data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on chemical production materials.
  • Assist in the development of training materials for staff.
  • Participate in safety audits and compliance checks.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, production, and quality assurance teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Master's degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in industrial chemical processing
