Job Description

As a Transportation Vehicle Inspector, you will evaluate vehicles at auction for damage assessment and repair cost estimation. Your role is essential in maintaining safety and compliance standards within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles being auctioned.
• Evaluate damage, estimating repair costs with accuracy.
• Document findings and maintain detailed records for compliance.
• Work closely with auction staff to facilitate smooth operations.
• Identify and report on safety concerns in inspected vehicles.
• Ensure all inspections are conducted within regulatory guidelines.
• Provide expert advice on vehicle repairs and valuations.
• Assist in developing further training for new inspectors.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Automotive Engineering is preferred

Experience

• Experience in automotive damage assessments and auction procedures is advantageous.
