Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Durban team. Your role will include evaluating financial performance, producing financial forecasts, and advising on financial decisions to aid our company towards achieving its growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial performance through comprehensive analysis of financial statements.
• Create detailed reports and dashboards for management review.
• Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes.
• Engage in risk management assessments to identify potential financial issues.
• Provide insights on cost management and revenue enhancement strategies.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Develop KPI metrics to monitor operational efficiency.
• Assist with M&A analysis and evaluation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial systems.
• Maintain accuracy of financial systems and reporting tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in financial management

Technical Skills

• Forecasting

Certifications

• CFA Level II is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
