We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, project management, and experience in the construction industry. You will be responsible for overseeing various projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage project lifecycle from conception to execution.
• Review design specifications and ensure adherence to standards.
• Perform site visits to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and resource allocations.
• Perform structural analysis and materials testing.
• Implement project management best practices.
• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
• Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years in civil engineering with project management experience
