Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Actuary to join our Johannesburg team. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial risks and developing policies that minimize the impact of those risks. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, along with the ability to use statistical models. Candidates experienced with financial forecasting and actuarial models will find this role particularly rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine actuarial methodologies and models.
• Work closely with financial analysts to enhance risk assessment frameworks.
• Develop and implement policies to mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct regular audits of actuarial data and assumptions.
• Assist in the design of insurance products and pricing models.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Fellowship in relevant actuarial society is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in actuarial roles or financial analysis
