We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee our clinical trials in Durban. The successful candidate will manage study protocols, coordinate with investigators, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contributing to impactful healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical trial protocols and ensure strict adherence to timelines.
• Develop and implement study-related documents and materials.
• Provide regular updates to the Director of Clinical Operations.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and ethics committees.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or a related field
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in clinical research coordination

Technical Skills

• Protocol development
• Regulatory compliance

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certification in Clinical Research (CCR)
• Certification from the South African Clinical Trials Association

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance practices: Understanding of safety reporting and risk management in clinical trials.
• Experience with grant writing: Ability to write grants for clinical research funding.
