Job Description

We are in search of a committed Social Worker to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social issues affecting our community and be equipped to provide support, advocacy, and guidance to individuals facing challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients.
  • Develop, implement, and review social work interventions.
  • Facilitate support groups and community programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and social service agencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date case files for compliance and reporting.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
  • Engage families in the care process to promote wellness.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years in direct client services
