Job Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in East London. This role involves providing technical support to clients, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT inventory and assist in procurement of new equipment.
• Monitor and maintain system performance.
• Implement IT policies and procedures.
• Assist in data backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Provide feedback on service improvements to the IT Manager.
• Stay updated with technology trends and recommend upgrades.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT Support or related field
• Additional certifications (e.g., A+ or N+ certification) are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• VoIP Systems
• Remote Desktop Applications

Languages

• English: Fluent
