Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our Johannesburg office. You will be integral in assessing environmental impacts and developing sustainable solutions for various projects. The role involves working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote ecological health.

Responsibilities

• Develop project proposals for environmental consulting services.
• Conduct risk assessments related to environmental impacts.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance.
• Provide technical support to clients on environmental issues.
• Assist in creating public awareness campaigns around environmental stewardship.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing environmental programs and make recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications are beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the environmental field
