Environmental Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment and improvement of environmental practices across various projects. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective strategies for waste reduction, pollution control, and resource conservation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental site assessments and contribute to environmental impact reports.
• Work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental laws.
• Investigate and assess the effects of projects on local ecosystems.
• Help develop training programs for staff on environmental practices.
• Stay updated on environmental trends and legislative changes.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with clients about sustainability measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Certification in Environmental Management is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental project management
