We are seeking a highly-skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a strong understanding of DevOps principles. Your expertise will help us drive transformation in our cloud initiatives, improving efficiency and performance across the board.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of scalable cloud infrastructures.
• Assess existing systems and recommend cloud solutions for enhancement.
• Educate teams on best practices for cloud services and architecture.
• Assist in the development of operational protocols for cloud environments.
• Identify potential issues and mitigate risks in cloud setups.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate applications into cloud platforms.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps
