As a Systems Administrator in Cape Town, you will handle the daily management of our IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize servers, switching, and routing technologies.
• Provide data security protection and disaster recovery solutions.
• Organize and set up IT equipment for new employees and training sessions.
• Collaborate with the IT team to evaluate hardware and software solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of all IT processes and systems.
• Serve as a point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues.
• Assist in the development of staff training materials and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and system upgrades.
• Evaluate the IT infrastructure for potential investments to enhance services.
• Ensure all IT processes are properly followed according to established standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• MBA or related management qualification is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years in IT system administration or support roles

• Firewall Management

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
