Security Engineer

Job Description

In this role, you will develop and maintain security protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards while working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to optimize security measures.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain security protocols for information protection.
• Regularly assess risks and evolve security strategies.
• Implement technical security measures such as firewalls and encryption protocols.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents promptly.
• Educate employees about security policies and procedures.
• Review and update security policies to adapt to the changing landscape.
• Conduct forensic analysis in case of security incidents.
• Coordinate with law enforcement as needed for incidents involving criminal misconduct.
• Collaborate with external security partners for assessments and compliance.
• Create detailed reports of security incidents and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
