Job Description

As a Tax Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping clients navigate the complexities of the South African tax system. Your expertise will guide both individuals and businesses in tax compliance, planning, and strategies that optimize their financial outcomes. You will work closely with a dedicated team and interact directly with clients to provide tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on tax implications of financial decisions.
  • Review and analyze financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the development of tax compliance programs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align tax strategies with business operations.
  • Keep detailed records and documentation for tax filing.
  • Assist in audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Research complex tax issues and provide solutions.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Honors degree or Taxation diploma preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a tax consulting role
